Charity Information

There are two main charities mentioned in the book. If you'd like more information about them, then here's where you can find it...

Diabetes UK

If you or anyone you know has diabetes, or would like to know more about the condition, then please visit the Diabetes UK website. They are the UK's leading diabetes charity. They care for, connect with and campaign on behalf of all people affected by and at risk of diabetes, reaching people with diabetes in local communities across the UK.

Dogs for Good

Previously called Dogs for the Disabled, this charity based in Oxfordshire trains assistance dogs to support children and adults with physical disabilities, and families with a child with autism. They also have a Family Dog service enabling people to train pet dogs to help with certain conditions, and Community Dogs to support special needs schools. All the dogs are trained through positive reinforcement and the partnerships that are created are truly life changing.
